  Books, DVD's and Publications

Train enthusiasts in the UK seem to have big gatherings, fairs, or exhibitions often. Every month a large event  is happening somewhere. If you have  a particular town you wish to visit I will find when the next model railway exhibition is on. There are vast collections of books, videos and DVDs to browse through, both new and recycled. The used ones are rarely indexed according to the enquiries I have made but I am sure if you want a particular title we can initiate  a search for it. I myself saw a magnificent Hornby manufacturers book about the model railway hobby, I wish I had bought it as I may not see it again. It was written back in the old days when a major problem with  using an electric train set was the interference on radio and television. The radio was often the prime entertainment in then and listeners can only endure so much crackle on the airwaves.

www.amazon.co.uk is a prime source of books but check www.amazon.com if stuck, as Americans often have a wider selection of titles.

Since I have been searching the Internet for model railway books in digital form I only came across this significant version.

www.

The best purely because it covers about everything to do with modelling  and regularly surveys readers for their interests to be added. Like we do. If you have a favourite book please contact me by email about it.
